I think the GTO attracts competetive personalities who want the best performance. This results in a GTO "ladder," we non-modders are on the bottom. This forum seems to tolerate us better than others.

I bought aftermarket wheels and put summer tires on them. This allowed me to get wider rears, and many aftermarket wheels are cheaper than stock wheels. I kept the stock wheels and put winter tires on them. They are easy to swap out.
