Regarding the locking clips all I can say is NOT. They are a joke. The first time I had my GTO detailed the folks vacuuming the matts sheered them right off, repalced them once at $4,95 a pop, same thing happened. I finally inspected the broken ones up-close and they were way beyond cheap, super cheap. I am done with the retainers and they are not needed anyway. I did see some on the Net that were all aluminum billet for $50 a piece, no thanks, well maybe some day...
I machined my own clips. The original price while the GTO was still in production was $486, THAT is indeed a rip. Not like $338 is or even $200, never the less they are factory for what ever its worth.
