Just released: After 4 years since Gaming began and Fast Eddie has promised a reduction in School taxes from gaming revenue, it was in my local paper we are ready to receive 10% relief from the school taxes that went up 30% (for me)when Fast Eddie tried to enact act 72. Of course Fast Eddie's spokesperson is proud to released this information but I am still 20% in the hole since gaming revenue tax relief was proposed.
The turnpike is closer to being sold which will cut 2,200 jobs from the State. However the money from the sale will go to fixing our roads and bridges, HORRAYYYYYYY .... until Philadelphia has another major shortfall and Fast Eddie ear marks those funds for diversion as he as done in the past.
But alas, if the turnpike is sold, I-80 will not become a toll highway!!
No major highways were shut down due to snow and ice this past season!! Penn Dot has redeemed itself..... Wait, there was no snow this year.. YIKES, my bad.
PA is the only state in the N.E. not public smoke free in restaurants etc.. according to an article I have read in the Lancaster Newspaper. PA still doesn't know how to go about this even though the surrounding states do. We have the only bumbling fool as Governor.
Some of us lost hope.
