I bought the 2008 Consumer's Reports 2008 Best and Worst Cars Issue. 2005-07 G6 cars are listed as cars to avoid. Also, they list the 2005-2006 GTO as a car to avoid, but not the 2004. The only Mustang listed as a bad choice is the 2005 V6.
After reading this issue, I'm shocked by the poor quality of VW. Many of their cars are far below average and made the 'Cars to Avoid' list. They also said GM has greatly improved quality, but Honda is #1.
