I have the 9500i in my Chevy 2500HD, the GPS really helps in marking speed traps and areas of false alarms. When the unit picks up radar it speaks and lets you know which radar band has been detected and it also displays your speed. I have the 8500 with a laser shifter in the GTO which is also a good detector,
