That is a good tool, and I recommend it. Here's another tip for those who aren't comfortable with downloading and installing a program.

Another trick for XP users running Outlook (I think this works with Outlook Express too) is to open the folder where your pictures are, highlight the ones you want to resize, right click on them, and choose "Send To" then "Email Recipient". When your email launches, it will ask if you want to resize the images, and you can choose the size you want.

After the email launches, just select all the picture attachments, right-click and choose "copy". Then just create a NEW folder, right click in the white space in the folder, and choose paste. Tada! There's your pictures, all resized. Then, just close the email and choose "no" when it asks if you want to change a draft copy.
