'68...should I buy it?

Alright, so this is my first time posting. I thought I'd get advice from the people who know their stuff. I found a 68 GTO that seems promising. I'm wondering if it'd be a good idea to get it. I'll include a link at the bottom. Any input you could provide would be a great help. Thanks everyone.

Not a bad price. However, don't buy this car if who do not expect to spend at least the price you pay to get it to a point where you can drive it. The rust issue may only a surface problem, so stripping and repainting costs will not be cheap. Brakes and suspension are always an issue and how much do you about any engine work has been done. Interior looks to be in decent shape.

Good Luck if you decide to buy.

I see from the pictures where rust was covered with body filler and now the filler is breaking away from the car. The car had a vinyl top when it was new and I would bet there are rust issue thru out the roof.

Also, the engine in the car is not the original engine, 455's were not used in GTOs until 1970.
