Search & Rescue

My Dad owned a '66 & a '68. I know he has the VIN for the '66. Is there a database or a way to search for classic vehicles w/confidence? I would love to track down his '66 if it's still alive somewhere.

This is my first and I'm sure not my last post. I'm a member of the Jeep Grand Cherokee forum and if this is anything like that it'll be very informative and a great place to help a buddy out.

Thanks for any information that can be provided!

Are you friendly w/ any active police officers? They can run a vehicle by vin and if it has been registered they will pull all the info immediatly from all 50 states. If it isn't registered but was some time ago the above post info is the way to go.
