Update and questions

Hey all, I havent been on in a while. Just a quick update on my 67 GTO. Engine sent out and almost done on a rebuild (just dont have enough time to do with my dad, who is the mastermind). Soft rebuild on the Th400....changed to disc brakes....lines almost done...Engine compartment repainted, working on the underside of the goat now..(frame on)...still lots to do before we get her on the road.....the questions I have are....-

#1 -The factory equipped air conditioner is not with the car. I want to replace it. I would like a newer compressor but if I do do I need to change the rest of the system including the condenser?

#2 - I need to change the heater core and since Im in there how will it affect the above question as far as adding new stuff or removing factory stuff?

#3 - The car came with some pretty large (and heavy) sway bars in the trunk...I dont have the bolts, but I do have the front sway brackets...any ideas what size I might need or where I can get the hardware for install...Im sorry but I dont know the manufacturer...

I know alot of questions in one post...sorry..and Im sure I will have many more...I get more excited as it gets closer..

#3) any parts store should be able to fix you up with the sway bar bushings and bolts to attach it to the frame. Take it with you or messure it as some are different diameter bars.

And by any parts store he means one that is not run by complete idiots that know nothing about cars that, if it's not in the computer they don't know what to do. Orielley's comes to mind as I type this....
