Hi gang!......
Finally gonna start changing the weatherstripping on my Goat. I kinda wanna do it a bit at a time and want to start with the upper 'roof rail' piece.
Do I slide it into the grove after removing the old one or does it simply press in?
Is there an adhesive required

Hey TK, long time...

When I did my 69 I had to use black weatherstrip adhesive to hold it in. The replacement strip does sort of 'snap' into the channel but it's soft enough that when you roll the windows up and put pressure on it, it tends to come out.

And make sure you don't stretch it when you put it in...or it will be too long at the end (s).......................keep pouring!! E
