Ok, i'm selling my 67' GTO asking 24,500 ObO, or would consider trade for an 03'-04' FORD Cobra, if the Cobra is worth more i will pay the remaining price.

I Purchased this car 3 years ago, it was owned by a local mechanic. Since then this is what has been put on/rebuilt:
ENGINE
Sorry but the engine is not matching numbers,(it's whats keeping me from asking for the big bucks.) IT IS ALTHOUGH a genuine 1967 GTO 400ci. The engine was COMPLETELY rebuilt. Along with it being rebuilt, i felt the need to add more to the engine. i have added all new, headers, full exhaust (side exit), cams, carb, distributor, radiator, alternator and valve covers. The engine is being geared by a 4-spd Munci. Since its completion its only been driven 2000 miles. I like to keep it garaged and safe.
EXTERIOR
The paint is the original, Regimental Red. This paint was applied 5 months ago so it shines really well. We went with American Racing Wheels and tires are 215 in the front and 275 in the rear. This car has absolutly no rust. All the chome and emblems have been re-chromed. We just installed Air shocks in the back dur to the Rather large rear tire.
INTERIOR
I bought the complete interior kit which is all black leather. The old weather stripping was taken off and new was put in. New dash pad, I have a modern steering wheel on at the moment BUT, we have the original one also. The interior is flawless besides two minor things which can be dealt with in easily. The car came factory with AC but it is missing a compressor, also this car has no stereo.
OVERALL
I am positive i am missing some information since so much has been done to it in the past 3 years. This is a beautiful car and it turns so many heads (not trying to sound like a salesman but its true) You get the thumbs up from anyone who knows anything about classics. The reason i am selling it is because it is always garaged and even through all the effort, i find that i never drive it. This car is loud, fast, and very fun to drive.
