That car looks really sweet, I'd expect it go for between 25 and 45 thousand, depending on how bad the seller wants to get rid of it..

That car is super nice, and even with the wrong motor, probably would fetch closer to 45k on Rukee's scale. Only thing I see that I don't like is the Buick style engine call-out on the air cleaner. Pontiacs NEVER had those. I'm jealous of the car, though..........

I don't think I would. You'd be hard pressed to replace it for that. About the sticker, I said Buick STYLE----'60's amd '70's Buicks had a very similar sticker on their air cleaner lids. Some brilliant soul started making them in Pontiac engine sizes and started selliing them to the uninformed. Are you sure your car doesn't have a Buick engine in it? To me, it looks like a 350 Buick engine that had the distributor removed from the front of the engine and installed at the rear. Also, it looks like the ribbed Buick valve covers have been replaced with Pontiac items.....Nice try.......

In this economy I am finding 100% numbers matching 67 GTO show cars for $20K to $40K. There are a ton of realtors, builders and contractors selling their toys to pay the bills. If your 428 RA was a rare documented upgrade by Royal Pontiac then your car would bring more. Otherwise it is just another resto-mod with a non original motor. The best way to see what it is worth is to list it on Ebay and set your reserve @ $60K. If it sells, you did good!

Just my opinion!
