1968 GTO For Sale

The car is a mild custom with a built Chev 427 500 hp engine. Someone put a Trans Am hood scoop on it. The paint and interior are in fair condition but the engine is one awesome monster that sounds incredible. The car also has a B&M shifter, but the original shifter and console are in the trunk along with some other parts. Below is the description of the engine.

1968 Big Block Chevy 427- 10 ½ to 1 compression

Engine code is 6999289
BBC Bore and Stroke Measurements 427 = 4.250" x 3.76"
So if you want to stroke it you can take it to-454 =
4.250" x 4.00" 496 = 4.250" x 4.37" Or bore it to-502
= 4.466" x 4.00" 572T = 4.560" x 4.375" ALL production
big blocks used a 6.135" length rod.
$9000 in invested is what is listed above.

The car is one of those that looks pretty much perfect for fifty feet away and when you see the engine it is VERY impressive.

The engine recently began to backfire through the carb when you get on it, so it appears that the valves need some attention. The car is solid and rust free. It would be a great hotrod for someone or something that someone could return to original. Asking $12,500 OBO. I am attempting to attach photos to this thread. If for some reason they do not show up, I can email them to you or email you additional photos if you are interested.
