Real '69 GTO convertible with matching numbers 400ci YS 350hp,auto,10 bolt posi rear. Recent new top that works fine. Body and frame in very good shape and would make a strong platform for a show car. Has original color coded Limelight Green paint in good shape. Recent engine rebuild 12/07 and has new Edelbrock carb. Trans shifts out great and along with rearend is probably orig to car, rear still has factory tag in place. Has new tires on the orig factory rims. I bought car to be a driver to enjoy and fiddle with in my retirement but due to disibility, bad leg,and wife's anti-muscle car mood I am selling. Car needs new trunk pan,has areas of rust through, 2 small bubbles under paint on hood, few areas rust top windshield frame, could use new carpet and interior cleaned up, drivers seat has small tears. I need to get $26,000 or so for car. If interested will send photos. Thanks
Sorry about the pics, was on my laptop last pm and it doesn't have the goat pics on it. As for the idea about getting rid of wife, that's been considered but I don't think the car would be quite as warm to lay next to in winter. Thanks for the kind words.
Of all the things to forget to add to the posting, it was very early in the morning, I forgot to say that I have an album with PHS, protect-o-plate, orig bill of sale and a multitude of other paperwork on the car. That's what happens when OLD sets in.
I appreciate the nice comments about my GTO. I love driving it when weather is nice. It sure gets attention, even had photo taken while driving through Helen,Ga. 05gto, I live in Cornelia,Ga. If car doesn't sell I plan on enjoying it as much as I can even though I can't spend what it needs to make it even nicer. I hope to go to some local shows with it.
Nice GTO ! Love the hideaway headlights.... Hey Randy, Are you a Body/paint man by profession or is that shop in your pics your personal hobby? Eric
Eric, Goats are a personal hobby to me, I own a low voltage contracting company and I share the 4,000 sq. ft. warehouse with the company to work on my cars. I hired 2 body guys and a painter to help with my project and tried to learn as much as possible. They completed what they were contracted to do and I'm doing the last part of the restoration with some help from friends.

I'm about 70 miles from you, my next project will be a convertible maybe a 64 or 65. I hope to one day have a complete collection of GTOs excluding 73, 74, 04 and 06.
Good luck with the sale and I'll refer anyone who is looking to you,
