This is the car that had the double blower setup on it. It has been changed back to a single 8-71 blower setup so I could go racing. On the first pass at the track, I broke the transmission and have decided I want to build a different car specifically for racing only. This car got all the attention anyone could ever want (Positive and negative) and even had a fine sponsor in PYPES Performance Exhaust. It has made the rounds from Detroit at the Woodward Dream Cruise to Myrtle Beach at the Run to the Sun car show. Other places I have been with the car are Atco NJ, Atlantic City NJ, Maple Grove Pa, Richmond Va, Ocean City Md, Louisville Ky, Norwalk Oh, Harrington De, and all over Maryland.

This car is perfect for cruising to the local burger joint or any weekend show. It isn't a perfect ISCA turntable, mirrors on the floor trailer queen. It was built to be driven. Drive it anywhere as long as you can afford the gas!! It doesn't overheat or have bad manners while driving. I have driven this car in 4th of July parades over 90 degrees outside for over an hour and never got above 190. Driven it in bumper to bumper traffic at the Cruisin Ocean City events and never had an issue with the car......the cops were a different story!

The car could be raced if you wanted to change the stall converter, but it ISN'T a racecar. Contrary to ALL the "Experts" on the web and guys who know everything at the car shows, I know it could be faster with twin turbos, one big single turbo or a bigger blower or even overdriving the one blower. That wasn't why I built it the way it was. I did the double blower setup just to be DIFFERENT!!!!! Not a performance enhancement.....not to challenge John Force..... Not to reinvent the wheel.........not even to make a 8 second pass. I did it because I wanted to stand out in the crowd. I was tired of seeing the same old 69 Camaros at car shows. I can appreciate a stock restored car. I can appreciate a modified car. I can appreciate imports, trucks, motorcycles and anything that someone takes the time to build the way they want to build it. I like the Pro Street look. It just seemed that all the Pro Street cars were starting to blend together and look the same. When I bought the 8-71 to replace the 6-71 blower, I jokingly set it on top of the other one to take a picture just to make my friends laugh. Well, that look started to grow on me. After inquiring about whether it would work or not, I was told it wouldn't work by MANY people. I figured I'd give it a try anyway. Just to be clear, both blowers were FULLY FUNCTIONING and not gutted. Doesn't matter whether you believe me or not, just stating facts. I drove it like that for over a year and only had an issue when the balancer bolt backed out and the lower pulley and hub came off. It didn't hurt anything internally, just had to replace the oilpan and trans pan that were damaged when I drove over it.

This car has been featured in the Feb. 2007 issue of High Performance magazine (cover shot), has won Best Pro Street at the 2005 Pontiac Nationals, Best Heavy Modified GTO 64-2006 at the GTO Nationals in 2006, and appeared in several other magazines, newspaper articles, car show fliers, and internet websites. For video of it running, just search YouTube.com for double blower GTO. There are several videos of it there.

Anyways, I have decided to change directions and want to go back racing. I may be interested in trades if you have a Pontiac powered or Pontiac bodied car. If you are interested in the double blower setup to go with the car, I can reinstall it after purchase. The second blower doesn't come with the auction. Details can be worked out.

PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. WINNING THE AUCTION DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO COME LOOK AT THE CAR AND START NEGOTIATING. ALL SALES FINAL. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. THANKS.
