hey everyone,
thinking about selling a 1967 GTO project car i have for sale...it is stripped down to bare metal, no bondo, straight body with just a tiny bit of rust on the rear quarter. fully built new 400 block with a fully built/stalled 400 tranny. 12 bolt posi rear, clean interior.
will have pics up tomorrow if there is any interest...looking to get 5900 for it.

Axel,

Can you post the Data Plate, Vin Tag, Engine, Head and transmission numbers. Where in SC are you located?
Thanks,

pics are up! VIN # 235177P618163...couldnt quite get the head numbers, they are hard to read in this terrible weather. i think it is E204 and E301. i couldnt find (or maybe just couldnt get to) the block or tranny numbers.
i do know for sure that the motor is not the original for the car...i am pretty sure the transmission is also not the original one. the car has drum brakes all around, so i am not sure if it is a real GTO. the drum brakes are not hooked up right now, so the car will need to be towed.
car is located in clemson, SC.
had lots of response already!
thanks!

A 235 Vin is for a Tempest, I'll Pass, but thanks for your trouble!

Little bit my arse. That thing needs AT LEAST $10,000 in work to be respectable.

its still a bad ass ride.......would make a great "donor" or GTO "clone" car
I think its well worth what your asking especially if the floors and trunk are solid
