FS. 1968 Pontiac GTO 455/4-Speed PHS Docs

PHS documented 1968 Pontiac GTO for sale. This car is an excellent daily driver with
approxiamtely 10,000 miles on a rebuilt engine. The engine is from a 1972 Trans Am and I believe the transmission is original. The car was painted a year ago. The car needs some cosmetics, but it is perfect for daily driving or parking outside. My son used it as a daily driver for 2 years. It starts up first time everytime. No engine Leaks. Very reliable & Powerful with high torque. When I purchased the car it had 4:11 gears and was a screamer. I put 3:08 gears in it for great freeway driving. This GTO is not a show car but easily a 20 footer.

Rebuilt Pontiac 455 cu engine,

650 Holly Double Pumper,

New Edelbrock Aluminum Heads/all new components/valves,

New OEM Water Pump,

New Ram Air II/IV collector manifolds from Ames Performance,

New 2 ½ dual exhaust,

New Flowmaster Super 40 exhausts,

Rev Limiter,

Fuel Pressure Regulator,

Electric Fuel Pump,

Accel Electronic Coil and Ignition,

MSD Distributor,

New Fan Clutch,

New 4 Core Desert Cooler Radiator,

Original Muncie M20 4 speed Transmission,

New rebuilt 12 bolt rear end,

New rear Axils,

New 3:08 rear end,

New Posi,

New Carpet,

New Headliner,

New Front Door Panels,

New Plug Wires,

K & N Air Filter,

New BF Goodrich Radials,

New Rally II wheels with chrome rims from Ames Performance,

Under dash Oil, Vacume, and Volts Gauges,

Sony Head Unit,

Whats wrong with the car: Front floor boards replaced average job. First owner didn’t bother cutting out and replaced from inside but very solid. External cosmetic issues. Some bondo and minor rust. Frames solid. Crack in upper passenger corner of glass. No Engine leaks but the speedometer cable is missing from the transmission and oil drips from this. Easily fixed. All lights work except1 bulb in rear, 1 high beam bulb, and partial dash. Headlight doors have to be opened manually. No speedometer cable.Fuel guage doesnt work, Tach works .
