For Sale - 68 Pontiac GTO - Best offer

Good evening all!

It’s time to sell our 68 Pontiac GTO. I don’t know what it’s worth so I’m looking for best offer or if you have an idea what’s it’s worth feel free to let me know even if your not interested.


Details - 68 Pontiac GTO, Parts or ??? 6.5 Liter. Hurst His/Hers shifter. Heads/intake/carb in trunk. Floor boards/rear frame section rusted. My dad has owned since the '80s I'm 99% positive original engine/trans. Taking offers, serious only please. Will NOT Part out. Please contact me with questions or more info.

Hello Randy and welcome to the forum,

Could you post a little more information about this car, I.E.

The numbers from the motor, front of block (passenger side) there should be 2 groups of codes, on the back of the block (passenger side) there should be a casting number. on the distributor pad will be a code, the heads will have a couple sets of codes, one will be on the center exhaust ports, the other will be just below the valve covers.

The codes from the data plate and the vin number.

Why was the motor partially disassembled? Do you have pictures of the rusted areas? Do you have more pictures other than what is posted on Craigslist?
