how easy are they to install? I'm not too handy when it comes to tearing up a car...

Moderately difficult, the hardest part is removing the center console.... on a scale of 1-5 its a 2.

Here are the installation directions from B&M. To me, the most difficult part of the installation is access to 1 or 2 of the bolts used to anchor part of the boot from underneath the car. I got a decent look at the transmission tunnel when putting in the skip shift cable -- and there's a decent amount of room in there. You're just going to need some socket drive extensions and joints. This project doesn't appear to be as easy as putting a "VTEC powered" sticker on your car -- but not as difficult as installing a supercharger. Me? I can't wait to get this sucker bolted in!
