F.A.S.T. 78 and 90mm intakes on sale!

To make the LSX™ a true bolt on product, it is made to fit under a stock hood and uses all factory hardware, fuel lines and linkages. However, the runners were redesigned to increase velocity and volume of airflow by moving air more efficiently. The LSX™’s longer, tapered runners allow it to gain top end horsepower without sacrificing low-end torque. With 25% more plenum volume, each runner is allowed to draw from less turbulent air. As the air enters the runners at the bell mouth, the angles are redesigned for better runner inlet transition. The throttle body is specially angled for improved plenum flow. For all of these reasons, you can expect up to 20 more bolt on horsepower and 15 more foot-pounds of torque**.

As if increasing horsepower & torque weren't enough, the team then designed in some special features to allow you to make further refinements to your engine. Special bosses are designed into the LSX to accommodate nitrous oxide nozzles and these bosses are placed at optimal angles. We've already mentioned you can port the LSX, but there's even a place for a burst panels to be installed to help prevent engine damage caused by nitrous backfires or boost pressure overload.

ADVANCED POLYMER
The team decided that even though using an advanced polymer material would be more challenging, the benefits far out weighed all other materials. They selected "Amodel" because it is 20% stronger and 25% stiffer than the nylon used by the O.E.. It is also a remarkable 127% lighter than aluminum [11lbs. vs. 26 lbs.]. Even more important is the heat advantage. As an engine heats up to its operating temperature, a metal manifold absorbs that heat, which in turn causes it to preheat the air that enters the cylinders. This process, called heat sink, robs you of horsepower. Amodel does not absorb engine heat but instead acts as a heat shield, allowing much cooler denser air into the cylinders. The result is a lighter, stronger, stiffer manifold with built in horsepower gains from the material alone.

We are offering deep discounts for the F.A.S.T. 78 and 90mm intake manifolds. Pricing is lower than they allow us to advertise to you'll need to call or e-mail tbyrne@tbyrne.com to receive a price quote. This offer will be ending on Sunday, June 12th.
