FS: GTO wheels, Brand new Kumho race tires!!!

Hey guys, I've decided that I will no longer try to race my GTO in autocrosses, I will focus on getting a true race car.

I have for sale:

4 used, but in great condition stock GTO wheels (with plastic caps).
4 BRAND NEW Kumho V710 (The STICKIEST DOT race tires available right now).

I'm asking $1100 OR BEST OFFER

I paid over $750 for the tires alone, and over $450 for the wheels. The tires and wheels are already mounted and balanced, and I would prefer not to seperate.

What class of racing are you looking at getting into?

Currently I race with the NCCC (National Council of Corvette Clubs) which is basically autocrossing, and time trials on road courses. I will continue to race with them, however I'm looking to move into club racing with NASA/SCCA and try my hand at a more serious form of racing. Not sure if I have any talent or not, but it seems that more often than not I'm fastest with the Corvette guys in a stock '99 Hardtop Corvette with race tires. Almost all of the time, the Z06's don't have anything for me .

We shall see what the new car brings!

Good luck to you. If you ever have any questions on getting in SCCA club racing, don't hesitate to drop me a line. Made that leap (fairly successfully) in 2003 and haven't regretted it for a second.

I'll probably be getting in contact with you here in a few months as I prepare for the next year of racing. I still need to go through the whole driver school process, but hopefully I can find a double school weekend somewhere fairly close.
