I thought that the Superchips locks on the car vin number. That means your Superchips cannot be used on any other car but yours. How can anybody get around that?

Send a message via AIM to StangStalker
it should be unlocked once you return the vehicle to the factory specs. it locks the vehicles VIN as a safety feature so you can change it back to stock settings.

yes i just got an e-mail response from superchips stating that after the tuner is returned to stock it is unlocked. It has been a great power booster but after my header install i am going for a custom tune.

Hope this helps...
