I'll agree in the fact that you will end up buying them from there... I ordered mine in april and they still have not arrived, granted I ordered 05 headers and they were/are in high demand.

headers.

are the headers going to be your 1st mods.. The very 1st thing I would do to a car is to increase the airflow.. You can get a good Cold Air Intake for around 260.00 and about 45 minutes to install..
Headers would not be my 1st mod,,,,, remember, you alread have a good Hi Performance exhaust on your car right from the factory,,and Truth Be Told,, some people will tell you they got a 25 - 30 HP increase with headers, IT JUST WON"T HAPPEN,, real world is around 12 or so.. and with headers, the cost of them plus installation will be around 1,600.00 dollars , { headers 900.00 to 1,200.00 ] depending on brand and type plus the labor . and cat backs [ around 800.00 ] plus installation around 300.00 plus add another 350 for a full dyno tune..

You don't have to have a dyno tune (or a tune, for that matter) to feel the power increase from a set of LT's.

Hell, if I had to do it again, I would go right to the Long tubes and a catback with a tune. Dont even bother with the intake for now. The stock air box breathes pretty decent. I've seen the charts and performance at the track and the longtubes pull through quite well.

You could get a tune at your GM dealer... they should be able to hook it up to the GM data base and they send your GTO's computer the right codes ect. It doesn't cost them a dime to do it so they shouldn't charge you anything.

Headers

AGAIN.. you do not need headers on your GTO.. The factory stuff is fine,,for about 200.00 you can have your resonators removed and have a replacement section put in,,you will gain HP just from this,, A lot of people will tell you headers are the REAL DEAL, but the truth is you just don't need them..and Header will give some extra HP mostly in the upper RPM range,, Kooks will cost you about 1,200.00 and labor will be around 3 to 4 hundred more, if you must have haeders,,,, you can do shorties with labor and parts for about 1,000.00. and the HP gain will be about the same as with the KOOKS,, so think about what I call $$ = HP ,,, how much it will cost for the HP gain,, a simple Dyno tune will give you more HP.. but don't just get headers because other people said it was the thing to do
