2004 gto vs maybe 2000 z28

ok so once again im on 309 and in my rear view i see a maybe 2000 z28 not to sure but i know it was the ls1 and i see him going in and out of cars so i know hes coming to get me. so i slow down he gets next to me and he just wouldnt race so at that point i just stopped paying attention and outta know where he just punches is as im texting so by the time i hit the gas hes 3-4 cars a head of me so i punch it and easly catch up then he lines up with me again and does the 3 beeps and well it wasnt even a race i killed him couldnt even count the cars. is the z28 really that inferior to the GTO

I don't think I am alone when I say what the hell is with your stories?

First you hang with LS1 Vettes and now you dominate a LS1 Z28 in a LS1 GTO. Props for buying a GTO and loving it but lets get real here both of the cars you raced should have taken you. The LS1 Corvette and LS1 F-Body are about equal due to gearing and the LS1 F-Body is close to equal with a LS2 GTO. Of course the C5 is faster at speed vs LS1 F-Body as is the LS2 GTO.

So how the hell are you taking out both the C5 and F-Body. Are there a few mods you have yet to mention like a supercharger?

And don't even get me started on complete idiots who text while driving.

I think texting while driving should carry the same penalties as drinking and driving. There should be jail time and huge fines and loss of license.

if this is a true story, it was a dressed up v6 camaro. no way in hell you slaughtered an ls1 camaro like that if he was trying. And i do occasinally text at long lights, but never while driving. A girlfriend i had in highschool broke three ribs, and it could have been MUCH worse because she was texting going down the highway, just idiotic IMO.

first off both cars were STICK that i raced and i admit the vette was probably cuz the guy couldnt drive but ive raced tons of z28 and they never hang so idk what to tell you

I'm driving a stock LS2 gto and I could not keep up with a C5 FRC, he had about a car and a half on me the whole way and even gaining more as we got further into it. maybe you got the car used with mods? or your just not mentioning the mods you put on it? I would think its impossible for a stock 04 to take a z28 that bad, let alone a C5.
