So me ( 06 M6 GTO ) and my friend ( Evo 9 ) are cruising down city streets, when an audi s4 passes both of us going 70+ on city streets. From the way it sounded, I knew 100% it had aftermarket exhaust. So me and evo guy get stuck at red light as he flies by. A few blocks in, driving normally we run into him at a 35 mph roll. He comes up by the evo and revs up, Evo guy points towards me motioning him to race me instead, since I was in front of the evo. So next thing I see this punk comes next to me, asks me how much hp I got. Before I can finish saying 400 hp, this guy takes off on me. I even had to downshift to second, and before I even hit 4th I had him 2 cars behind me and now were at a red light. This guy looks at me like he saw a UFO .... " DUDE your supercharger is loud!!" he says. I couldnt help but to laught and tell him "nah its stock, all motor 400hp .... wanna try again?" so he laughs and takes off on the red light just before it can switch to green, Even with no traction first gear, by the time I hit 3rd I left him atleast 5 cars back. Atleast he ended up saying "thanks for the runs man!" . Just the fact that he said thanks to me, I felt he had a whole new respect for GTO's. Thats my first kill and many to come

^ An RS6 would rape a GTO. A GTO would rape an A8. An S8 would give a Goat a decent run. An S6 would be a driver's race. An R8 would slaughter one. An RS4 would kill one. The new S4's are low-mid 13's, so it sounds like the guy the OP ran didn't have a good driver mod......

^ Umm, yeah, that's basically just what I said. And cinsidering S6's are low 13's, they're a driver's race. And RS4's can dip into the 12's, and factoring in their AWD advatage and better aerodynamic and top-end, w/ equal driver's, a GTO is not beating an RS4. And everything else was just what I said....
This stock for stock racing b/c online its says an R8s 1/4 time is a 12.60, so it does beat the GTOs, but I'm sure some bolt on GTOs can take the R8 and take the RS4, as for the RS6 it depends on what year. I looked up an 03 and they do the 1/4 in 13.30s and they were $75,000 new, the 2008 RS6 is a totally different animal. It's a 580hp V10 twin turbo, 0-60 in 4.6 seconds(same as an auto 05-06 GTO) Keep in mind I did these comparisons with the Audis being stock and the GTO being modded.
We don't get the new RS8's. They're foreign-market only. And they'll be into the 11's no problem. The older RS6's that we got had a 450hp twin-turbo V8 and were good for low 12's all day.....

Silly audi's, tryin to keep up w/ us goats. Unless it's an RS6 or a modded A8 we should win everytime relatively easily.
