Beat by SS chevelle

well the other day i was showing off my goat to my Dad and he decided to take me down a peg and asked if i wanted to race his chevelle. Now that was a mistake on my part cause i didn;t have a chance but is was still fun and you really can't expect to beat a big block 454.

what year chevelle was it? was it stock,and if not what mod's. and what kind of race was it, roll or a dig. i beat a few big block 70's befor, but they are nice cars

66 with a 572 4.88 gears rock crusher tranny flomaster headers and exhaust and 90:10 shocks in the front and 50:50 in the back with a posi rear end and a dale hall cam

Yeah, it's difficult to argue with brute cubic inches and gears. The Chevelle could even weigh 4,000 LBS and still be very competitive.
