So i'm driving to breakfast and a Chevy SS pulls up next to me and really gets going with the "lets race" stuff. I had a friend in the car who was ok with the idea and the guy in the SS seemed cool with his approach (lets have some fun vs. I'll kick your butt kinda thing.) So we matched up a rolling start right around 35 MPH.... I was mid revs in 2nd when we punched it...
Obviously I pulled ahead.. By the end of third I was in his lane pulling on him.
But I was impressed at how fast the truck was!
AWD 6.0 liter truck did really good.. I heard some whirring that didn't sound very stock to me... but I would think if the thing was supercharged he would of pounced me.
Anyway.. cool truck. I slowed to pull over into the resteraunt and the guy said something with a smile on his face as he rolled by.. maybe nice ride.. or good job... Anyway it was nice to just have fun with it and not have someone all up in your face.
