How well do the rear ends of the 04-05's hold up under hard launches and drag radials. Also, is there any difference between the standard and automatic rear ends in terms of strength or gearing? TIA.
The durability is stronger than the camero and firebird. Both the A4 and M6 have the same gear in the rear end (3.46 to 1). I have a friend with a 04 GTO who has drag tires and his rear end holds up just fine.
