After I dropped my fiancee off this morning and was heading into the office in my stock '05 A4, I was accosted by a black Impala SS with custom exhaust and super wide tires. I was passing slower traffic in the far left lane on the inner loop of the DC beltway when the Impala pulls up to my rear bumper. I didn't realize what was going on (no cofee yet) until the guy driving it pulled up right next to me and pointed forward. He then gunned it, and so did I. Since he got the early jump, he pulled out about a car length but my A4 kicked down and the LS2 roared. That was the end of that as I left the guy about 10 car lengths behind and I shut down at 140 mph. It could have been worse since I noticed that I had left the ac on from yesterday. The Impala disappeared after that but I do have to give it some props - those cars still look and sound impressive.

Nice kill ! My first kill was an Impala SS. He had it modded up. He came cruising past me on the highway and revved the engine. I fell in behind him and waited till traffic got out of the way, pulled up beside him and we nailed it ! I was still in 6th when we hit it and I pulled away from him like he was nothing, all the way to 130+ !
