sick s2000

well my friend wanted to run his car a few times. so we we went at it. he has a 2000 s2000 with 477 gears, intake, some lightweight exhaust that took off like 60 lbs. and a V tech controller. Its fast.

1st race. 40 role i drive a 05 A4. he gets at it and i have to play catch up but i dont get next to him untill around 110!! then we shut it down. my car dosent do to good from 40 though. but awsomely fast for a s2000.

2nd race. 60-120 put about 5 cars on him. this time we both leave at the same time. still a better fight then the mustang GT's i have been racing.

3rd race. 5mph- 80. put about 3 cars. great fight IMO.

All in all this s2000 is no joke. for a 2.0l to hang with a 6.0 i give it heavy props. all great races I cant imagine how fast it would go with a supercharger.

i drive a stock 05 a4.

But don't forget the huge weight difference.

The S2000 is a great car however a totally different animal then the Goat. Those V-TEC engines only produce torque at high revs so if you catch one down around 3-4k rpm they do not have chance. Not suprised you won by so much on the 5-80mph. Hard to have many rpms going 5 mph. He would have done better from a dead stop.

Seems he should've done much better than he did in the second race, but...... nice kills.

I don't think "sick" and "s2000" belong in the same sentance.....at least not when "sick" is used in a positive way.

Slap a turbo on an already fairly quick S2000 and sick is the first word that comes to my mind.

A turbo charged GTO??? Please dont start with the whole ricer math thing. Your car was 30 grand off the showroom floor unless you bought one of the leftovers that the dealers had a hard time getting ride of the last year they were made. I have 22 into my car and have 11 second slips. Lets see you pull that off for that price! Or better yet Strap a Big turbo on a $1500 CRX and for 10 grand your running high 11's low 12's.
