"TRG GTO.R wins GT class @ Watkins Glen"

The GT class also went down to the final lap, with Jan Magnussen holding off Joey Hand’s F1 Air PTG BMW M3 by .445 seconds to give the TRG Pontiac GTO its first victory, in only its third start in the class. Spencer Pumpelly and Jon Littlechild took third in the class, driving the TPC Porsche.

"We've come a long way since we got the car at Daytona," Magnussen said. "It's only going to get better."
