2009 GTOAA/POCI Co-Vention

The 2009 GTOAA Convention/International Meet will be held in Dayton, Ohio at the Nutter Center on July 7th, to July 11.

This event will be combined with the Pontiac Oakland Club International and be a Co-Vention. The GTOAA & POCI Co-Vention will be a duel Convention/Show located on the same grounds yet have different show car criteria. The GTOAA Concourse, and popular vote entries will judged by their their set of show criteria while POCI will do the same for their entries.

According to the speaker at this year's GTOAA Convention, there are some 8 thousand members combined between both organizations within a 1 day drive of Dayton. They are basing their registrations on 1/4 (2,000) registrations. This is the first duel meet and is designed to bring together ALL Pontiac Enthusiasts to promote the spirit of the Pontiac.

This event is expected to be HUGE and has been in the works for the past 2 years. The layout I saw is impressive to say the least.

There are a host of motels located in a close proximity to the Nutter Center.
I have posted a couple of links for anyone who may be thinking about attending this event.

Event link...... 2009 GTOAA / POCI Annual Co-Vention - Pontiac-Oakland Club International, Inc.
Lodging Link... http://www.poci.org/Docs/32.PDF
Registration Form.... http://www.poci.org/Docs/33.PDF

They are advertising preregistering for the convention first before booking a room. I have my room booked and was NOT required by the motel to be registered for the Co-Vention. I will register closer to the deadline.

I would suggest anyone even thinking about attending this Co-Vention get a room booked as soon as possible.
