10/6 ETown - what a great day
Went up there this morning. Figured I had to get the car ready for the GTO race next week
The weather was incredible - 56 to 60 degrees for all my runs.
It was crowded since it was a test & tune day, VW meet & Jessel Quick 8 (damn those cars are quick). Very few muffled cars in the T&T lanes, so we got to go 3 times before 11:30 - with adequate cools downs.
Took the cone & CAI off the car - since I couldn't get the fuel trims right. Went back to the stock 2 hoel box, stock air filter & an old tune.
Times were 13.377 @ 104.57, 13.401 @ 104.35 & 13.589 (driver error) @ 103.72
Went against a STI all 3 times. Nice kid - told me he had work done to the car and was usually in the 12s. Got him 2 outta 3 times (he had a 13.336 to my 13.4).
