19 inch or bigger wheels

I have a 2005 with factory 18 in wheels, no problems with strut rub and the car handles fine, a friend of mine has a 04 and just installed aftermaket 19 inch wheels on it,, it looks good but I after I drove it I told him it handles like s--t,, I took a close look and it is very obvious that he lost a good inch or so of sidewall, the dam contact area of the tires are about 1 1/2 inches or so from the wheel rim.. these bigger wheels might look good and will handle ok as long as you are going straight, but I would never put them on my car

The goat was not made to have bigger than 18" wheels on because of the size of the wheel well. Hence why your buddy's car drives like crap! It may casue him problems later on down the road. I wouldn't change the size of my wheels just for that issue.
