I have an A4, but I think a lot of the M6 guys I know run either Cartek or Textralia clutches. Two cars in particular I'm thinking of hit the track pretty hard and after a year (and many 11 and 10 second N20 infused passes as well as 5-6 road racing days) the Cartek is finally showing signs of slipping. For as much as he beats on his car I'd say the Cartek is a great clutch.

Are stock clutches covered by the factory warranty? How hard are you on the car to have gone through that many clutches so soon?

I have the Spec stage 3+ which is good for 850 lbs of torque. The tektralia is quite a bit more in cost. Both are better than anything GM has.

I was about the post the same question. I've almost got 30k on my car and I don't drive it hard at all.... but I've noticed the clutch just doesn't feel the same, the friction point seems like it's farther "out".

Clutch pads and parts are not covered under warranty. Only area I can see where the A4 has an advantage over the M6.

It may not seem fair, but if I was a manufacturer, I would probably feel the same way, and my guess is all mfg's warranties are the same.
