Cracked my SAP side skirt

Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section but just as the title says I cracked my passenger side SAP side skirt the other nite. I ran over something in the road and when I parked I noticed it had cracked. Of course the SAP kit is completely discontinued and I was hoping you guys might have some ideas on where I can purchase a side skirt from. I've checked ebay and they just have the whole kit and one guy is selling a pair of primed skirts for over $1200!!!! Thats a little steep, so if anything I guess I can just get a pair of stock side skirts. Any help would be appreciated guys.

Hey Devil,
That pretty much sucks.
Anything SAP is gonna be cause for some rapeage! Ouch!

I would just post a WTB in the parts section of this site and ls1gto.com. You might get lucky.
otherwise, stock OEM would be the way to go. If you go OEM, check out GMPartshouse. They list them at $103.00.
They do show SAP, primed for $448.00.
Give Gene a call and see if he has them.

Good Luck!

Russ

Good luck,

Thanks for the replies guys. I checked Cleveland pick a part's website and they didn't have it. I'm gonna try calling them. My dealership just fixed it for me for free so it's not hanging down and is trying to get me a replacement from another dealer in California. If that doesn't work out I'll keep checking ebay and worse case scenario I'll get the stock rockers put on, the only difference is the two square cut outs/grilles by the front tires so not really a noticeable change.

I have the full SAP kit and I am worried about having it damaged.

Depending on how bad your rocker is damaged, maybe it can be fiberglassed back into shape? Let a body shop determine if it is possible.

Yeah, I'm always extremely careful given the scarcity of replacement parts but I just ran something over in the road and didn't have a chance to avoid it. The rocker is definitely ruined, it's got a crack about eight inches long and the mounting clips are broken as well. My dealer just screwed it back into place till I get it replaced. Thanks for the help though judge.

Well the one from pick a part wasn't sap BUT my local dealer was able to get me one from another dealer in California. He just gave me a call that the part came in today and was getting sent out to be painted. Total cost of the side skirt and paint job = $600 Last one available in the country and I really wanna keep the full sap so I decided to bite the bullet and do it. Thanks for all the help guys!!
