Huge waste of money!!!!!!
Nitrogen is a very stable gas. As temperatures increase or decrease, it's pressure remains fairly constant. This gives huge advantages to race car teams. They can set a suspension up without fear of the tire pressures changing as temps heat up or cool down. In a race car a 1/2 pound can make a difference and races are won or lost if the pressure is off by 1 lb.
As far as passenger cars are concerned, if you want to put nitrogen in your tires and check them less frequently that is one thing. I like to look my tires over and check pressures at least once a week. I want to know if they have a nail or other defect in them. I want to discover a small leak before it becomes an issue. Once a week check tires, wheels, look for leaks, fill the washer fluid, check coolant, check oil, check power steering fluid and brake fluid.
