pricing yes pricing

I almost got the GTO but ran into some payments that had to get out the door. Well Im back in the game and have a month left for the down payment. I found a dealer that still has 12 2006 gto's sitting around new.

Anyone know what the prices are still, knowing the car is what one'n half years old, you think deals will be better? the prices listed are $33XXX. Anyone who bought a GTO just recently what did you pay? I may wait a little longer hoping that the dealer may lower prices or have a nice sale.

Thanks.

I'm no expert, but there is probably a reason they still have that many on the lot. Also, the base price of these cars was 32,XXX from what I remember. In my opinion, you could do much better even out the door. But at the end of the day, it is just doing whatever makes you happy.

Def go through the internet mgr. E-mail them and tell them that you will pay "X" for the car OTD. Just contact many different dealers and 1 is bound to bite. I found mine 210 miles south of me. Paid $31,900 OTD (tax/title/license fees) just a month ago. It was 33,500 list I think (plus some $795 bs striping kit that I just laughed at). 6M with 18s. Might still have 0 percent for 60 months, which is like them paying you!
Good luck,
Troy

The 60 month 0% is still there (and is well worth sacrificing the rebates IMHO). I got GMS pricing (wasn't as much as I thought). They had 3 '06s on the lot, two Spice Red autos and a Silver M6. The Silver M6 and one of the SRMs had "demo" miles on them (6k+) the SRM I drove home Saturday night had 74 miles (20 of them I put on test driving) and I walked out at a little over 31k @ 60 monhs 0%. Although I have seen some better deals I think I did OK. I think the 31k-32k OTD would be a good estimate.

On March 15th I paid $28.5k on the road for 6m and 18's. Rebates were higher when I bought mine to what is offered now and I wasn't floating the loan for more then 2 weeks so interest wasn't a concern. With inventory on the lot this long they are less likely to deal because they are out the interest $ to obtain the inventory. There was a dealer close to my home that had 12 on the lot, reason was the defaulted on their note to GMAC for all their GMC truck and Pontiac inventory forcing GM to shut them down. The inventory is now offered by the Buick dealer down the road. Use the GM web site to find inventory within 200 miles of your zip and request quotes via email. Purchase the lowest or use it to get another dealer that's closer to home down off their price.

Good luck in your hunt.

Ya i just went to the dealer they had a black 06 6speed and in silver also with 3 others red autos which i wasnt insterested in. the guy said same thing 0.0% APR for 60 months he also said I may walk out the door with it with less than 30k when i go back next month. He said most likely he will be able to work anything cause the dealer wants to get rid of them.

The dealer around here currently has 3 on his lot.... Sticker price approximately $33,500... They are listing in each vehicle window prices around $29,000 with all dealer discounts and rebates... You might do better than that, but why buy new? Shop around.... I just bought my 06 GTO Friday night for $24,400! It only had 2,696 miles! Absolutely flawless.... Now I have a little extra cash for mods!
