I have had my 2004 GTO for a little over a month and a half. I have a problem that seams to be a leaking radiator checked all the hoses and they look good. Seeing if anyone else has had problems with the cooling system. It only has 40,000 miles on it. a little early for problems like this to be showing up.
Can you see where it's leaking from? Are you sure the leak is not coming from a water pump or thermostat housing? Did you follow the trail of fluid from it's start? Have you checked the drain plug to make sure it's closed?
From new the radiator had an additive installed to prevent leakage and prevent corrosion. Some panicked and thought there was gunk build up in the radiator and had it completely flushed. Some relied on these quick change oil place's advice there was something wrong when in fact it was ignorance on those places part.
Maybe an object was thrown into the radiator somewhere. If it's leaking it will leave a trail of evidence.
I could be wrong but I believe these radiators have a plastic liner inside the radiator.
Ya its spraying from the radiator on the drivers side. I found a new radiator for 200 so i will get that in and have it up and running again. Thanks for the tips.
It was the side tanks. I am having trouble finding a replacement so i have taken it to a radiator repair shop. Should have the goat on the road by tomorrow.

Ya the radiator I ordered from partstrain.com was single core for an automatic. Doesn't help when you have a manual.... So I took it to a repair shop and they can't find a holding tank for it anywhere. 450 for a new radiator so I am talking to the dealership cause its 100miles out of warranty and this part is impossible to locate
