Wow, here in South Jersey, the weather was nice. Sunny and a nice 50 degrees!!! The last two days were nothing but hard rain and washed the roads clean. Well, the wife was working and I was home with my three yr old and 6 month old.
I walked out to the barn and checked on the goat. I looked at her and she looked back at me, like, "well?" are we going. So I saddled up the car seat and car seat protectors and threw them on the goat. Once all was strapped in the barn doors open automatically to the sound of the goat rumbling. Once the door was open the goat started out of the barn, looking around struttin' her stuff out of the driveway and onto the street, knowing she was the king of the street.
We rumbled to the exit of the terrace from where we lived and trotted down the nice country road in search of some feed for the goat.(Sunoco 93 Octane). While trottin' down the road the goat yawned as the little amount of dust blew off her back from sittin' in the garage the past couple of weeks before being driven.
Then turning on to the single lane state hwy 49 the goat stretched her feet a little more and a nice pace just rumbling on. Not seeing anything else on the praire to play with we pulled into the station where the goat got her fill of 93. Once leaving the station after a ten minute ride we headed back to town towards the barn. But, before doing so the little ones were now all asleep to the harmony of the goats engine and exhaust notes.
We got back into town and headed out a nice country road with only fields lining both sides of the roadway. It was then I gave the goat a little kick when she opened her eyes wide and did an little dance in the road before straighting out to a nice gallop.( At this time my 3yr old daughter wakes up and asks who was behind me?! I said what are you talking about, she said well, you started going faster and was wondering who was behind you. I then told her nobody was that the goat was wanting to take a nice gallop down the road.
So, we then headed back to the barn. Once the doors opened I pulled her into the barn for the next beautiful day. Once getting the children and accessories out of the goat, I closed the barn door. As I walked into the door leading into the house I looked back at the goat and it looked like it was smiling, at which time I said thanks for the ride and bringin' us home safely.
