when converting from 04 to 05 exhaust...

do the mufflers get moved also??? i have an '04/A4 with pacesetter headers/resonator delete/flowmaster super 44's. unfortunately, the more i think about it, the more i'd like to go with the '05/'06 rear bumper look. i know the '05 mufflers are at the back of the car where as the '04s are more in the middle. so if i make the switch to '05 rear bumper, is it a case of keeping my mufflers where they are and just running another pipe to the rear passenger side??? or do i have to scrap my exhaust and make muffler positioning the same as the '05s??? thanks for the input guys!!!

You can have a muffler shop make new tail pipes that will exit in the 05-06 position. The Spintech system for 05-06 GTO's has its mufflers in the 04 position to help eliminate "droan" associated with its system, so I don't think it's a big deal.

When you convert your system you'll need a tail pipe hanger on the passenger side made up.

Hope this helps.
