Speed INC tune

Took my car to Speed INC to get a GMM Ripshift,SLP rear sway bar,Spec stage 2 clutch and a dyno tune installed.I have to say they were great to work with.I was expecting the RWHP to be around 340 and it turned out to be 333 so im happy with that.I was really happy with the torque at 351. They were a class act and didnt look at me wierd when i asked a stupid question. Really good people to work with.BTW,on the way up there i got around 18-19 MPG and on the way back after the tune i was right at 28.3MPG.

They are busy,i called on June 2nd and they told me they could get me in on July 17th.Its worth it.When i took my goat there they had a Ford GT there and it was awesome. They say they open at 9a.m. but they knew i was coming at 9 am this morning so they dynoed it at 7:30a.m. just so it was done when i got there.Just make an appointment and just keep buying more stuff for when you bring it there..Most the speed shops i talked to seemed pissed when i asked a stupid question but they go over everything for ya.Just be prepared to see your goat surrounded by Vettes when you go there.Im really picky about where i take my GTO for work but the whole time i had faith in them.I had my SW header rubbing on my PS rack and they fixed it with no problem.Next summer im taking the goat there and gettin a cam and cutouts installed (along with another tune).

I might try and use them

I saw that they were a sponser/vendor on the 'other' GTO forum so I clicked for there info and today am going to call them up and maybe drive out there to see what their place looks like and POSSIBLY do some business with them.

Double post (my bad!)

I went there this morning and was mildly impressed. They answered all my questions and told me it would be about two weeks to get my car in there. They must be busy! (NOTHING wrong with that) I am still going to look/check out some other places in the Chicago area to see what my choices might be. Does anybody else have any suggestions as to a good speed shop around Chicago to compare?
