East Texas Show & Drag night 3-10-07

To all of our friends in Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Louisanna and Oklahoma;
We are planning a GTG for Saturday March 3 2007. We'll start with a show and shine sponsered by McKaig Pontiac in Gladewater, TX 10am- 1pm. It is suppose to be avertised in the local paper. We need at least 30 cars for this. And that evening we'll all go down to Rusk, TX to the Cherokee County Motorsports Park for an evening of Drag racing. If your coming from out of town and need a Hotel/Motel, let me know and I'll try to get a group rate in Tyler ( Tyler is about half way between the show and track ). I'll post more details later.

If I'm home that weekend I may try to come down. Won't race though, cars not broke in yet.

Hey great!!! But..... as of today the date has changed to 3-10-07 due to a scheduling conflict at the track. Hope to see you there!!!

We are planning a GTG for Saturday March 10 2007. Here is the latest update for our East Texas GTG...
We will meet at 11am at the On the Border on Loop 323 @ Broadway ( Hwy 69 ) just in front of the Tyler Square Mall. Directly south of OTB is the mall parking with plenty of parking, we'll all park there. We'll leave OTB about 1 pm for the drag strip which is about 25 miles or so south of Tyler. It will be an open track day and the track plans on closing at dark ( approx 6pm ). The track entry fee per car is $20. Thanks Everyone!!!!!
