I was 5 miles from the dealer when I got pulled over for doing 59 in a 45mph construction zone. Cop walked up and asked the usual questions. When I told him I bought it 5 minutes ago he asked to see the odometer. With less than 25 miles on it he told me I had a nice car and to watch my speed and be carefull. Nice Officer.
Just bought the GTO but was driving my other car -- and got popped for 49 in a 35. Until then, no tickets for 12 years. Cop decided to be a jerk and wrote me. Followed Groucho's advice and visited helpigotaticket.com. Haven't heard back yet -- but am expecting to win. Thanks, Groucho. George McCalip is awesome.
Haha, before I got my Valentine 1 I got lasered by a cop doin 145 in a 65 zone. Lost my license for 6 months. OOOPS thats the price of winning this competition.

lost the licence because of the fact that I was racing a Trans Am Ws6 at the time i was doing that speed. Also doesnt hurt that in California doin that far over the speed limit is considered attempted manslaughter. I think i got off easy!!
Like a nimrod, I got provoked into flooring my 05 Goat to get away from some puke who wouldn't stop harassing me with a Jetta VR6. I let off at about 140, and was still going 110 when the cop got both of us. 2 counts of reckless driving (35+ over speed limit and racing). It cost me a grand in lawyer fees, a driver retraining course, and now I have AR for 2 freakin' years and 100 hours of community service. To say that I felt like an idiot in that courtroom, and that they take this stuff very seriously would understatements. To make matters worse, the first attorney I hired got arrested himself the day before my final court appearance for embezzling client funds, so I had to cough up another 250, over the 750 I already did, to get representation. 400 hp is very tempting indeed.
