Actually, I've tried a few of the liquid synthetic polymer acrylic products (Turtle Wax 2001, Blue Coral, Eagle 1) and they all appear to be pretty similar. I imagine they're all sharing the same basic acrylic polymer chain with maybe some proprietary additives in each one. Actually, I'd be really surprised if all this stuff wasn't coming out of one or two production facilities. I doubt all these small brands can support their own research and development plus manufacturing.
I actually had it in my hand earlier today, the NXT McGuiars ofcourse , I think I may give it a shot since I've always like McGuiars products. Thanks

Somehow while in Advanced Auto the young clerk asked me what I was cleaning up because I was working and in uniform. So I told him and he asked me if I had to change the battery in the car yet, ofcourse I said no. He told me the Optima battery is the only brand made that will fit the new GTOs. MMM! When it comes time, I guess I'll try to get the one with the red top to match the goats engine compartment

The best shine I've gotten as of late.

Mcguires liquid wax/cleaner
Mcguires Gold paste wax
Turtle Wax Ice polish

In that order. Amazing shine.

I've always used the McGuiars Liquid wax/cleaner as well. Mostly on my boats. I used it today on the goat. WOW! Now I know why I had this stuff in my garage. Easy on/easy off smells great and one H$%^ of a shine!!! Sweet!

I've used Mcguire's for years and it is a fine wax. I still use the Quick Detailer. However, I tried Zaino Brothers for my last wax job and I'm throughly impressed with it. I've never seen shine and beading like that! I can not speak yet for how long it will last before needing another wax job, but if it is equivalent to Mcguire's, I will have to choose Zaino Brothers. ** Note that Zaino Brothers is not off the shelf (that I am aware of), it must be purchased online.

Up until about 1990, I was a Simoniz Rain Dance guy. Then I got a new 91 escort GT (black). When I picked it up, it had an amazing shine on it. I asked the detailer what he used, and he showed me the maroon bottle of Meguiars. I've used that ever since.
