Am I slaughtering my goat?

I use second gear all the time to get my goat rolling from stand still due to that plentiful torque. My envy buddy claims that I'm slaughtering my goat and I don't even know it. Am I?

P.S. It is just so much fun to get that rush with such ease. I feel the power every time I step on it.

Nah I don't think that would hurt it at all. After all some of these people on this site really were their Goats out at the drag strip. You should be fine.

the only thing you'd be "hurting" would be the clutch. Assuming you're riding it a little more than a first gear start!

At the dragstrip, many if not all of us do second gear burnouts.. get the tires a little hotter, and stickier.

I say your buddy is wrong!
