The Radio

My first post. I bought my GTO right before I moved to flordia. I love the car except for two things.

1) Giant Key!
2) The Radio.

The radio sounds good until you start turing it up. You can't bump this car because the bass sounds terrable. Has anyone looked into or done something to improve this?

I looked into two options... Adding an amp or adding a box in the trunk but as many of you had pointed out the trunk is really small. I would rather fix the problem without losing trunk space.

Thanks for the help.

The radio is maybe my biggest gripe too - it's weak.

I turned off the distortion prevention (it's in the DIC and in the manual). That made the high volume performance improve a little. But, it's still and underwhelming stereo.

Then again, nothing beats the dulcet tones of the LS2
