ive got this ringing sound just every once in a while. just when its cold.. it sounds like the ringing of ears.... and its not MY ears.. any ideas?

Alittle more info would be nice, what year and when exactly does it happen?, at idle?, under acceleration?, just rev`ing?, any mod`s ect. The more info you can give the better job we can do.

its an 04 , no mods, its like a constant ring well like your ears ringing it only does it at idle and when its cold, thats bout all that it is

Could be a number of things. Belt tensioner, flywheel noise, something loose.
Try and open the hood and narrow it down.
