Smoking / Tinting the Tail Lamps

Once again I'm trying something new so the rest of you GTOForum Nimtards can learn from my mistakes...

I've always though that the tinted tail lights a'la' the HRT427 was a sweet look. I'm going for an all-over yellow & black look to my ride, and the stock tail lamp assys look a bit incongruous-- which is a big word for "stupid."

Screw using tint film to do that film...that's like trying to wallpaper a basketball. And the thought of using rattlecan tint paint on my ride fills me with dread.

I'm sending my tails (a donor set, actually, so I don't have to take the car down) off to these guys for smoking- http://www.smokinlights.net

Kinda steep at $150, but it's a damned sight better than dropping $450-500 for a set of 427 tails.

I will advise how they look when I get them back early next month.
