dyno day

a couple of months ago the purdue automotive performance association got together, and ran a few of the daily drivers (it was a really rainy/nasty day) on a dyno day we arranged at a nearby mustang shop (brenspeed). We each payed $20 for 3 runs. The video is really long, as quite a few cars run, and if anyone wants to laugh at a mustang blowing up, go to around 29 minutes. I figured i'd just post it cause i guarentee nobody has seen any of the runs before.

3 pulls for twenty bucks sounds very reasonable.
I`d love to pick up one of those portable dyno machines, there`s no one around here that does that, either portable or not, I really think a guy could clean up with one.

were are you, because there are quite a few around here. Our club is even inviting a portable dyno to our Grand Prix (spring) car show, as long as you can guarentee them a certain number of pulls he will travel to any event.

I just love how a cam only LS1 Camaro has 17 hp over a FI mustang.

What was that one car? It was turning almost 9 grand in RPMs?

*edit* awe I see, it`s a rotary engine. That explains it.
